Driftwood Cottage is a privately owned, 4 star graded, 3-bedroom cottage which sleeps 5, situated within the peaceful landscaped 16-acre holiday village of Pendra Loweth on the outskirts of Falmouth. Set within a wooded valley, with a stream running through the site it is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday, watching the squirrels play during the day and listening to the owls hooting at night.
Driftwood Cottage with it's own FREE WiFi access is situated on the edge of the site in a quiet location with little passing traffic and an allocated parking space less than 20 metres away.
The site itself has many opportunities for leisure activities, at no extra charge, with a well-equipped gym, steam room, Jacuzzi and splash pool. Within the grounds are 2 all weather tennis courts, a ball court, and new children’s play area. Laundry facilities are available along with a small bar and restaurant, which is seasonal.
Driftwood Cottage is ideally situated to explore the bustling harbour town of Falmouth, with a variety of boat trips available, along with Pendennis Castle and the Maritime Museum to visit. It boasts many independent shops and an array of good restaurants.
Falmouth has 3 safe sandy beaches to enjoy, (Gyllyngvase beach has again been awarded a blue flag for 2012), as well as the opportunity for trying out water sports. It is also ideally situated as a base to explore the rest of Cornwall with the Eden project, beautiful Lizard Peninsula, St Ives and the North Coast all within an hours drive.
